Most "best bitcoin sportsbook" lists tell you which books accept Bitcoin. Nearly all of them do. The question that matters is what happens when you want the money back — how long it takes, what it costs, how much you can take out, and which coin to ask for.
So we deposited at four offshore books, bet the money through once, withdrew what was left and timed every step. This page is those four results, plus each book's crypto cashier terms as the operator publishes them.
Tested September 2026. Terms checked against each operator's own banking and help pages the same month. We earn commission if you sign up through our links; it doesn't change the order. How we review →
The short answer
| Book | Why | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | BetOnline | Fastest withdrawal we measured — 4 h 52 m. Bitcoin withdrawals free, $20 minimum, no stated maximum, no limit on how often. |
| 2 | Bovada | 24 h 05 m in our test. Large weekly ceilings, and Litecoin is its best route out. Not available in 20 US jurisdictions. |
| 3 | MyBookie | Ten coins accepted, free crypto payouts. 29 h 22 m in our test — and only one withdrawal per method per week. |
| 4 | BetUS | The best crypto welcome bonus of the four. The least published detail about crypto payouts. |
This is ranked for crypto use specifically, so it isn't the same order as our main list, which weighs bonuses more heavily.
What happened when we withdrew
One round trip per book: deposit about $100, one play-through with no bonus, withdraw the rest.
| Book | In | Out | Request → approval | Approval → wallet | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BetOnline | Visa Debit | $84 in BTC | 4 h 25 m | 27 m | 4 h 52 m |
| Bovada | BTC | $95 in BTC | 23 h 30 m | 35 m | 24 h 05 m |
| BetUS | Mastercard credit | $90 in BTC | 27 h 50 m | 43 m | 28 h 33 m |
| MyBookie | LTC | $142.50 in LTC | 29 h 10 m | 12 m | 29 h 22 m |
The coin was never the slow part. Once each withdrawal was approved, the crypto arrived in 12 to 43 minutes. Between 91% and 99% of every wait was the book deciding whether to pay. If you're choosing a bitcoin sportsbook for speed, you're really choosing a cashier.
Two results need context:
- BetUS was slowed by a credit card, not by Bitcoin. We deposited by credit card, and BetUS's payout guide says "A 72-hour hold will be placed on payouts after a credit card deposit is made." Our approval came about an hour after that hold would have lifted. Deposit in crypto and the hold doesn't apply, so a crypto-only BetUS player should expect a shorter wait than ours.
- Bovada asked for documents 45 minutes after the withdrawal request, even though we'd deposited and withdrawn in Bitcoin. More on that below.
One withdrawal per book shows what happened once, not what always happens. We didn't record transaction hashes, so the minutes after approval include both the book's send and the network confirmation.
Crypto cashiers compared
What each book publishes about getting crypto out. Where a book doesn't publish a figure, we say so rather than borrowing one from another site.
| BetOnline | Bovada | MyBookie | BetUS | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin withdrawal minimum | $20 | $75 | not stated | $10 (any payout) |
| Bitcoin withdrawal maximum | no limit | $9,500 per request; $90,000 a week | $5,000 per method a week | not stated |
| Book's fee on crypto payouts | BTC free; ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, SOL from $1.50 | none | none | not stated |
| Stated time | "Within 24 hours" | review 24–48 h, then BTC up to 24 h | review up to 24 h, delivery up to 24 h | not stated for crypto |
| How often | "Unlimited" for crypto | one BTC request per 15 min | one withdrawal per method per week, $10,000 a week in total | not stated |
| Coins | BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, USDC, USDT, SOL, XRP, XLM, MATIC | BTC, LTC, BCH, ETH, USDT, Lightning | BTC, LTC, BCH, ETH, BNB, SOL, ADA, USDT, SHIB, DOGE | BTC, Lightning, LTC, ETH, USDT, USDC |
| Crypto deposit minimum | $20 | see cashier | $20 | see cashier |
A few of these change the answer depending on how you bet.
BetOnline is the only one with no Bitcoin withdrawal ceiling and no limit on frequency. For anyone moving meaningful amounts, that matters more than a few hours of speed.
MyBookie's weekly limit is the one to know about. "You may request a maximum of one withdrawal per payout method each week," up to $5,000 per method and $10,000 in total. Win $12,000 and it takes at least two weeks to get it out, whatever coin you use.
MyBookie publishes two timings that don't quite match. Its rules page gives crypto review as "Up to 24 hrs" plus up to 24 for delivery; its banking page says verified customers "should expect to have their requested payouts processed within 48 hours." Our 29 h 22 m was inside the second and over the first.
BetUS publishes the least. Its help centre lists six coins for deposits, including Lightning, and a $10 minimum on any payout, but we couldn't find crypto-specific timings, maximums or fees on its own pages. We're putting the question to BetUS support and will publish the answer; until then, we won't fill the gaps from other sites.
Which coin to withdraw in
The right coin is different at each book, and it isn't always Bitcoin.
At Bovada, Litecoin. On Bovada's own figures, Bitcoin is its slowest crypto route out: up to 24 hours after approval, against up to an hour for Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and USDT. Litecoin also has the lowest minimum ($10 against $75 for Bitcoin) and the largest weekly ceiling ($180,000 against $90,000). Our own Bitcoin arrived in 35 minutes, so the gap may be smaller in practice — but that's one result, and the stated figure is what Bovada commits to. Full Bovada review →
At BetOnline, Bitcoin. It's the one coin BetOnline doesn't charge to withdraw. Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin and Solana all carry a fee that starts at $1.50 and scales with the amount, and Litecoin and Solana have maximums ($50,000 and $25,000) that Bitcoin doesn't.
At MyBookie, spread across coins if you're withdrawing a lot. The limit is one withdrawal per method per week, so two coins means two withdrawals a week — still within the $10,000 weekly total.
At BetUS, we can't say yet. It lists Bitcoin Lightning as a deposit option, but doesn't publish crypto payout timings or fees, and our one BetUS withdrawal was shaped by a credit card hold rather than the coin. We'll update this when we have a crypto-only result.
Crypto doesn't mean anonymous
Several "bitcoin sportsbook" pages imply that paying in crypto lets you skip identity checks. Our Bovada test says otherwise: Bitcoin in, Bitcoin out, and Bovada still asked for documents before paying. Its help centre says it can: "you may be required to submit documentation prior to a payment being processed."
BetUS's terms reserve the right to run identity checks "at any stage." MyBookie didn't ask us — but our MyBookie account had already been verified.
The practical rule is the same everywhere: get verified before you need to withdraw. A document request at payout time adds hours, and the review clock doesn't run while the book waits for you.
Bitcoin sportsbook bonuses, in real money
Crypto deposits usually get a bigger welcome offer than cards. Whether that's worth anything depends on the rollover, and in particular on what the rollover is calculated on.
| Offer | Match | Rollover | Worth per $100 deposited |
|---|---|---|---|
BetUS JOIN200 |
200% crypto welcome | 18× sports, bonus only | about $36 |
Bovada BTCSWB750 |
75% up to $750 | 5× on deposit + bonus | about $33 |
| MyBookie crypto welcome | 100% up to $1,000 | multiple not published | can't be calculated |
| MyBookie crypto reloads | 25–55%, tiered | 8–13× on deposit + bonus | negative at every tier |
Worth = bonus face value minus the expected cost of clearing the rollover at −110 pricing, per $100 deposited. Bovada's figure allows for its rule that winning bets count only the lesser of stake or winnings towards rollover. Method →
Two points the table can't show:
- The biggest crypto match isn't the best. MyBookie's reloads go up to 55%, but at 13× on deposit plus bonus they cost more to clear than they're worth — at every tier MyBookie publishes.
- The highest crypto multiple we found belongs to a book we haven't tested. Bookmaker.eu's crypto welcome is 100% cash at 30× on deposit plus bonus — about −$186 per $100. Avoid it.

Before you send your first coin
- Check the coin and the network against the deposit address. Crypto sent on the wrong network, or to the wrong coin's address, is usually gone.
- Mind the minimum. Send less than the book's deposit minimum and it may not be credited.
- Your balance sits in dollars. At all four books we tested, the balance showed in dollars. Coins are converted at the book's rate when they arrive and again when you withdraw, so the coin amount that lands in your wallet won't match the dollar figure in the cashier exactly. The network takes its fee too.
- Play the deposit through before you withdraw. Books require the deposit to be wagered before paying it out; BetUS states a minimum 1× turnover on deposited funds. We bet each deposit once before asking for the money.
- Keep your own records. Screenshot the deposit, the withdrawal request and the approval. There's no regulator to reconstruct them for you.
Legality and tax
Paying in Bitcoin doesn't change whether offshore betting is legal where you live — that turns on federal and state law, not the payment method. Washington State is the clearest case of a law that reaches the player directly. Our full guide →
Gambling winnings are taxable income in the US however you're paid, whether or not the book sends you a tax form. Moving crypto in and out can create tax events of its own. We're not tax advisers; if the sums are significant, talk to one.
The books we haven't tested
We've verified the crypto terms at three more books but haven't withdrawn from them yet, so they aren't ranked:
- SportsBetting.ag — same platform group as BetOnline, with a matching 50% free-bet welcome offer (
WELCOME). - Bookmaker.eu — its card welcome offer is one of the best we've calculated; its crypto offer, at 30×, is the worst.
- Everygame —
10XCRYPTOoffers ten separate 50% bonuses of up to $100 each. We couldn't confirm the terms on the operator's own pages.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best bitcoin sportsbook?+
Of the four we've tested, BetOnline: it paid us in 4 hours 52 minutes, charges nothing to withdraw Bitcoin, has a $20 minimum, and publishes no Bitcoin maximum or frequency limit. Bovada is second, with high weekly ceilings — but use Litecoin to withdraw there, not Bitcoin.
Which bitcoin sportsbook pays out fastest?+
In our tests, BetOnline at 4 h 52 m from request to wallet. Bovada took 24 h 05 m, BetUS 28 h 33 m (slowed by a credit card deposit hold) and MyBookie 29 h 22 m. One withdrawal each.
Do bitcoin sportsbooks require ID?+
Yes, when they choose to. Bovada asked us for documents on a Bitcoin-in, Bitcoin-out withdrawal. Verify early so it doesn't hold up your first payout.
Is it faster to withdraw in Bitcoin?+
Not necessarily. At Bovada, Bitcoin is the slowest crypto option on the book's own figures — Litecoin is stated at up to an hour against up to 24 hours for Bitcoin. At every book we tested, the book's review took far longer than the transfer itself.
Do bitcoin sportsbooks charge fees?+
BetOnline charges nothing to withdraw Bitcoin but charges on other coins, from $1.50. Bovada and MyBookie state no fee on crypto payouts. Your wallet and the network may still charge.
What is the best bitcoin sportsbook deposit bonus?+
Of the offers we could calculate, BetUS JOIN200 (about $36 per $100 deposited, 18× on the bonus only) and Bovada's 75% crypto offer (about $33). Avoid anything with a high multiple on deposit plus bonus — Bookmaker.eu's 30× crypto offer is worth about minus $186 per $100.
How do I withdraw bitcoin from an online sportsbook?+
Wager your deposit at least once, get your account verified, request the withdrawal in the cashier to your own wallet address, and wait for the book's review — 24 to 48 hours at Bovada by its own figures, under five hours at BetOnline in our test. Check the network matches before you submit.
Are bitcoin sportsbooks legal?+
Paying in crypto doesn't change the legal position, which depends on federal and state law. Is offshore betting legal? →
